Dwarf peace lily in my desk

Dwarf peace lily
is a 12- to 15-inch-tall plant that is upright in. These 10-inch-long, arching leaves have puckered veins that impart a rippled or puckered effect. Small, chalk white flowers are packed on a spadix borne in front of an attractive white spathe.

Peace lilies are mildly toxic to humans, but more toxic to cats and dogs, so perhaps that's why people are hesitant about their use as house-plants

Health benefits:

Another low maintenance plant (keep her in the shade), Peace Lily's are renowned for removing harmful toxins from the air: everything from ammonia and formaldehyde, to benzene and richloroethylene! They are also known to keep dry environments more moist, perfect for upping humidity levels if need be
